Tues 1/19 : Odysseyware Work Day : Students will work online to continue Forensics : Biology, Entomology, and Anthropology studies using Forensics.

Wed 1/20 : “The Celebration” : Bullet Type Determination – Students will work in the lab with partner using a color test to determine what type of bullet damaged the awning in their case.

Thurs 1/21 : “The Celebratin” : Bullet Type Determination – Students will write up their lab report and include it in PPT from their conclusion of the Lab from the day before.

Fri 1/22 : Making of a Murderer Ep. 2 pt 1 – Blog forensic details in Class Chatter as they watch.

Mon : Assign Historical Case Study 9-Week Project – Let partners discuss and start research.

Tues : Assign OdysseyWare 9 weeks work : Forensics – Biology, Entomology, and Anthropology. Students will work on this throughout the period.

Wed : Lab : The Celebration project : Gunshot Residue Test – Identify suspect or suspects that possible fired gun at the crime scene.

Thurs : Lab : Continue GSR test. Work on PPT with summary, procedures, Data, Analysis, and Conclusions from lab work.

Fri : Making of a Murderer – Episode 1 – pt 2. Continue blogging on Classroom Chatter about show.

Lesson Plans 1/4 – 1/8

Mon 1/4 : Introduction of Forensics Tru-TV Activity : The Celebration. Students will research forensics terms and FAQ about Forensics. Students will use computers to do their research individually.

Tues 1/5 : Students will continue working on Terms and FAQ sheet for “The Celebration” and will determine their groups for this project. Will work with a partner only for this activity.

Wed 1/6 : Classroom discussion over FAQ for “The Celebration”. : Handout Mystery Synopsis over “The Celebration”. Students will read and discuss the scenario. Students will decide the significant evidence with their partners

Thurs 1/7 : Classroom discussion : Is Mr. Manzetti’s son a reliable witness? : Reintroduce the value of eyewitness testimony.: Distribute and discuss list of forensic test – discuss gunshot residual and type of bullet evaluations.

Fri 1/8 : Quantico : Live Discussion Board interaction of relevant or interesting forensics information found in the show.
